Description:
In the advanced course, you will work extensively with raster data including map algebra, the basics of interpolation, surface analysis, and image registration. These courses use a hands-on training approach to allow for maximum retention.
For the advanced course, you must also have completed the introductory course or equivalent.
On-Campus Facility
Courses are taught in the Centeq Building located in Research Park. Parking is available at the building. Maps to Centeq can be found at http://campusmaps.tamu.edu. The Centeq Building is number 1605 on the map.
Classes are limited to 10 people on a first come-first serve basis. Please dress comfortably and bring a sweater as the building varies in temperature.
Registration Policies
The course fee includes a nonrefundable processing fee per class. The course fee minus the processing fee will be refunded if we receive notice of cancellation at least six (6) business days prior to the class start date. See individual registration forms for course processing fee. Students who cancel five (5) days or fewer before the class start date or who fail to appear for the class will be charged the full course fee or may transfer to the next available class at no charge. Student substitutions (from the same organization) are allowed, providing that the Registrar is notified in advance.
