The Natural Resources Leadership Course is designed for Texas AgriLife Extension Agriculture
and/or Natural Resource agents in the early stages of their careers. This course is intended to provide
agents practical, hands-on experience exploring natural resource issues throughout the regions
of Texas. During the course, agents will have the opportunity to interact and discuss issues with natural resource leaders
from state agencies and non-governmental organizations, and Extension Specialists.
The objectives of this course are to examine:
- Issues and trends rleated to natural resources in Texas
- Policy implications
- Regulatory implications
- Economics
- Dynamics of conflict resolution
- Communication, and
- Innovative problem solving
