As a GIS specialist for the institutes, Amanda Dube works with the geospatial and information technology team. She currently provides GIS support for the project, Assessing Recovery Opportunities for Red-cockaded Woodpeckers on Private Lands in Eastern North Carolina. She also assists in the acquisition, development and analysis of data for other natural resource geospatial projects as needed.
Dube joined the Texas A&M Institute of Renewable Natural Resources as a GIS technician in 2007.
She received a bachelor of science in wildlife and fisheries sciences in 2009 from Texas A&M University and is currently working on a master of science in the same field, as well as a graduate certificate in geographic information systems.
