Tiffany McFarland

As a research associate for the institutes and the Research and Management Systems for Endangered Species (RAMSES) team, Tiffany McFarland assists with ongoing studies of the distribution, abundance, productivity and habitat use of the golden-cheeked warbler and black-capped vireo within their breeding ranges in Texas. She oversees the coordination of these projects and works closely with project leaders.

Before joining the Texas A&M Institute of Renewable Natural Resources in July 2009, McFarland’s research focused on the application of GIS and remotely sensed vegetation data to model avian breeding habitat along southwestern riparian ecosystems.
